Musician Gary Wright, greatest identified for his hit singles “Dream Weaver” and “Love Is Alive,” has died. He was 80 years previous.

Wright launched his debut solo album “The Dream Weaver” in 1975, which included such hits as “Dream Weaver” and “Love Is Alive”.

He was a founding member of the UK-based Spooky Tooth from 1967 to 1970. The British blues rock band launched their debut album “It is All About It” in June 1968, which included “Sunshine Assist Me”, composed by Wright. In 1972, Wright re-formed Spooky Tooth with fellow authentic member Mike Harrison and remained within the band till 1974.
