Sky Sports Racing brings an exciting jumps meeting at Doncaster and dual All-Weather fare from Newcastle and Wolverhampton. With £20,000 to be won, the At The Races App Form Study Novices’ Handicap Chase (3:15) has attracted a decent field of eight.
Looking at the runners, we think Son Of The Somme has a great chance of repeating his January success in the race. Trained by the experienced Brian Ellison, Son Of The Somme has shown some promising signs over the larger obstacles and looks primed to give another good account of himself.
Dreaming Blue, sent up by Anthony Honeyball, is an interesting runner who ran in much better company before this drop in grade. Rex Dingle rides the horse, and we believe he could be the one to challenge Son Of The Somme.
Moving on to the evening highlight – The Spreadex Sports £300 Spread Betting Cashback Handicap (6:45) – we have our eyes fixed on John Quinn’s Tropez Power. It was an impressive success for Tropez Power last time at Southwell, and despite carrying top weight, we think he has what it takes to perform well. In a recent meeting, he got the better of Starshiba, who has an 8lb pull with Tropez Power this evening.
Andrew Balding’s Al Marmar for Al Shaqab Racing is also worth noting, and he could be in with a chance given his consistent performances in recent races.
The Huge Daily Boosts Only At BetUK Handicap (7:45) is a tough card, and it’ll take a special performance to take home the prize. But we think Badri and Pockley, both course victors, could be the ones to watch out for. Venturous is another interesting runner, who was just behind Badri in last time out. Nelson Gay was rated as high as 95 in his prime and makes his stable debut for Michael Dods, so he could be worth a second look.
To summarize, we believe that there are some exciting races in store at Doncaster, Newcastle, and Wolverhampton, and we hope that our analysis of the runners gives you a good insight into the potential winners. Watch all the action from these tracks live on Sky Sports Racing on Friday, March 17, and let’s hope that Lady Luck smiles upon us all.#Today #Sky #Sports #Racing #Dont #action #Doncaster #Newcastle #Wolverhampton #Racing #News
