With remote work as an option, a lot of working moms are now relieved of the stress and anxiety of being away from their kids for long periods. Employers should focus more on criteria and goals met instead of placing emphasis on where or when the work gets done. Flexibility on these aspects can significantly reduce workplace anxiety among working moms.

If the options for remote work are limited, working moms should explore the use of Sick Leave or Family and Medical Leave policies. Both options provide leave for an extended time to care for children or family members. This alternative lets working moms take time off work to regroup and address any family concerns, leading to fewer cases of anxiety and depression.

Practice Self-care

Self-care is essential for mental health, and working moms should practice it. It includes activities like yoga, meditation, adequate sleep, and a balanced diet. Working moms should create time to take care of themselves and set boundaries to eliminate any work-related stress.
