Lewis Hamilton and Performance Coach Angela Cullen Part Ways After 7 Years
After a successful seven-year partnership, Lewis Hamilton has announced that Angela Cullen will be leaving her role as his performance coach. Cullen, who joined Hamilton in 2016, has been a key member of the 38-year-old’s team and helped him win four successive world championships from 2017-2020.
Both Hamilton and Cullen shared the news on their respective Instagram accounts, expressing their gratitude for each other’s work and wishing each other the best for the future. While Cullen has not yet confirmed her next role, she did mention on Instagram that she was starting a new “adventure.”
Hamilton thanked Cullen for pushing him to be the best version of himself, saying that he is a stronger athlete and a better person because of her. He wished her well and expressed excitement about her next steps.
Cullen expressed her pride in Hamilton and what he has achieved, thanking him for his support and belief in her abilities. She encouraged him to keep believing that he can accomplish anything and expressed excitement about watching the next chapter in his career.
Hamilton and Cullen did not specify whether this weekend’s Grand Prix in Jeddah would be her last. Nevertheless, it is clear that their working relationship has come to a close after an extremely close bond developed over the past seven years.
Hamilton has praised Cullen in the past for helping him maintain a healthy lifestyle, including strict sleep and diet routines. It remains to be seen who will take over her role as his performance coach.
We wish both Hamilton and Cullen the best of luck in their respective futures and thank them for the tremendous success they have achieved together.#Angela #Cullen #Lewis #Hamilton #confirms #split #performance #coach #sevenyear #Mercedes #partnership
