Ryan Brehm Shoots Hole-In-One to Grab Share of Lead at Valspar Championship
Ryan Brehm made a hole-in-one on the par-3 17th hole at Innisbrook on Thursday, finishing the first round of the Valspar Championship with a five-under 66 and a share of the lead with Stephan Jaeger and Adam Schenk. Jordan Spieth, back at Innisbrook after a five-year absence, shot a bogey-free round and finished one stroke back at 67, along with Tommy Fleetwood, Lucas Glover, and Maverick McNealy.
The lead is Brehm’s first since winning the Puerto Rico Open last year, and he was excited to have such a strong start after a difficult time on the tour.
