Taylor Swift Wows Fans at the First Show of Her Eras Tour
Taylor Swift, the 33-year-old singer, thrilled fans with an unforgettable performance at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ on Friday. The show marked the first of her much-anticipated Eras Tour and Taylor did not disappoint. Throughout the night, she rocked amazing outfits, including a captivating pastel-colored sequin bodysuit, custom made by Versace.
The long-awaited event saw Taylor performing several songs from her critically acclaimed album, Lover, released in 2019. The singer paired the eye-catching custom Versace outfit with sparkly silver heeled boots over shiny nude-colored tights and left her long blonde hair flowing as she confidently strutted on stage. Taylor also wore her signature dark red lipstick while performing hits like “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince,” “Cruel Summer,” and the title track of the Lover record.

Fans shared videos and photos of the amazing show on Twitter and other social media platforms, praising Taylor’s performance. The show lasted for almost three non-stop hours, and there were multiple costume changes during Taylor’s time on stage. She made sure she looked the part for each album she represented on stage.
Taylor’s setlist featured songs from many of her other memorable albums like Fearless, Evermore, Reputation, Red, Folklore, 1989, and her latest release, Midnights. One of the highlights of the night was when the songwriter played the full 10-minute version of her fan favorite tune, “All Too Well,” with just an acoustic guitar and a lot of passion. She also performed “Enchanted” from her album Speak Now and “Tim McGraw” from her debut self-titled album.
Fans were thrilled to finally hear and see Taylor performing the songs off her hit album, Lover, especially after the devastation caused by the COVID pandemic that forced the cancellation of her Lover Tour back in 2020. Folklore and Evermore received a standing ovation too since it was the first time those tunes released in 2020 were performed at concerts.
